How it Works

The Coaching process begins by assessing the current situation, talking about goals, and planning actions to support the desired change. The foundation of a coaching relationship is forming a partnership to engage in a series of confidential conversations. The participant will practice new skills, receive feedback and tools, bring current and real situations to work through, and develop insight and self-awareness. Typically, there is a six-month commitment. 

Leaders can no longer rely solely on their own expertise and knowledge. They must understand the organization and the people that affect results. Their power lies not only in what they know and have done but how they interact, lead, and work with others. The competencies and skills required to lead people and get results are important to their success.
